Short version: we collect what we need to quote and do your job, we use it for that, and we don't sell it to anyone. Here's the longer version.
What we collect
When you ask for an estimate or book a visit, we ask for your name, phone number, email (optional on photo quotes), job address, a description of the job, and any photos you choose to send.
When you type an address, the site looks it up to work out the driving distance from Virginia City. That's how we know if you're in our area and whether a travel fee applies.
How we use it
To quote your job, schedule it, show up at the right place, and follow up about it. That is the whole list.
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. We don't add you to a mailing list.
Who else touches it
A few services help run the site. Each one only gets what it needs to do its part:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and handles form submissions.
- openrouteservice (by HeiGIT) looks up addresses and driving distances. It receives the address text you type.
- Telegram and email deliver your request to Rusty.
- Google Calendar runs on-site estimate booking. Google receives what you enter on the booking form and may set its own cookies. Google’s privacy policy applies there.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks. The booking calendar (Google) and any embedded YouTube videos may set their own cookies when you use them.
How long we keep it
We keep job details as long as we need them to do the work and keep normal business records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless the law says we have to keep it.
